What is the difference between whipping cream and table cream?

I'm trying to make a cream of carrot soupWhat is the difference between whipping cream and table cream?
Table cream is an old term for what is served on the table with coffee and tea. This is typically half 'n' half. Whipping cream has a much higher fat content and is used for deserts or heavy cream sauces. For your soup, you can go either way, it just depends on how much fat and creaminess you want in the soup. What is the difference between whipping cream and table cream?
Good questoin but table cream is more for inside the thing yourmaking like lets say your making a cake you put table cream inside of it while makeing it and whipe cream goes on top of the cake like just for extra taste
table cream(half n half) use for coffee creamer whipping cream(heavy cream )use for whipped cream ice cream ect. can use either in you soup whipping cream is thicker you could use milk in a soup if you need to just would not be as thick
