Is there a coating or a cream that can protect a marble table top?

Any natural stone, such as granite, travertine or marble, should be sealed. Dupont Stonetech Bulletproof Sealer is just a clear sealer for your natural stone. It will seal the stone(has to be reapplied either once every 3-5 years if not a high use area, or once every 1-2 years if high use area) and it will not affect the color of the marble.

Any marble, even if sealed, can still etch, if anything acidic gets spilled on it. Things ranging from tomato sauce, wine, cosmetics, household cleaners; all can etch and/or stain marble, even if well-sealed.Is there a coating or a cream that can protect a marble table top?
Yes there is a special finish that is spirit based which is used on stone floors which seals the marble which is quite porous we have a Travatine dining table and treated with this product it easily repels red wine which can be wiped up with no stain. I believe the product to be Lithofin which comes in 500 ml pale grey tin, wipe on leave for five minuites then wipe away excess and repeat process this can be use on any natural stone Do not use stuff from B%26amp;Q as it leave a residue which is almost impossible to remove. Is there a coating or a cream that can protect a marble table top?
I haven't seen anything just for that, but it doesn't mean there isn't. I would suggest a linseed oil, or pure mineral oil. The same stuff they use for cutting boards and wooden bowls. I agree marble should be protected with some kind of penetrating oil. Byee
