It's Mochi. Balls of ice cream covered in a thin glutinous rice shell. They are delicous and you're missing out if you don't try one. Typical Flavors are Strawberry, Chocolate, Vanilla, Green Tea and I've seen Redbean too.

Asian Ice Cream Cake/Pie?
I was in the Asian market picking up some sesame oil and a variety of noodles I like. Anyways as I was leaving I saw someone set down a plastic tub which read something like Ice Cream Pie/Cake and it either different colored balls of some sort red yellow green which could have also been fruits I guess. But I am just trying to figure this out it was an Asian brand and I was wondering if anyone knows of such a dessert and what it is called?Asian Ice Cream Cake/Pie?
