Either cream or sage green would be lovely (but I'm voting for sage!). Just remember, whatever color you use should be repeated throughout the room to create a more cohesive look. Otherwise, the curtains will look like an after-thought.





So, accessorize with throw pillows, vases, artwork, etc. that coordinate with your curtains, and your room will look beautiful!
sage or some sort of patterned curtain. it sounds like you have a lot of neutral colors going on and need some sort of soft statement, i think the sage or a patterned curtain would add some subtle flare just no cream or if you are set on cream curtains do a valence scarf that is colored and makes it pop. happy decorating!

Okay let me tell you, i used to sell furniture, and cream leather gets dark quickly. Leather is skin and it has pores that will get dust in them. Therefore my first reaction is to tell you to get burgandy. However with burgandy carpet it will get very red in there. I don't know about black though either, it will get very heavy looking. Now i dont know how your decorating style is but what i would do is maybe navy or there is a really nice leather color out there right now called black cherry. It is a darker burgandy with some depth to it (aka lighter and darker tones) and it should look really nice. Just please really think about the cream.
Go with the black or burgundy, cream would leave the room too washed out. If you are interested in the natural tones try a brown shade. Depending on the color of walls in the room, try not to get the furniture the same color as the walls, again creating a washed out look. I went with brown myself and painted the walls a different shade of brown and added accents to help the tables.

I bought cream. It gets a little darker over time with use. I have a dog too, and she does scratch it but with a lighter color scratches are less noticable. Cream goes with anything in the future. Different carpets and paint or throw pillows and blankets can always help change the mood or feel of a room. Then you dont have to replace colored furniture that your sick of.
Cream. Burgundy is too jarring and black is to too contrasting. Better yet scrap the table altogether!

I can't answer exactly but I can give you some info that might help you figure it out. Let's start with the citronella. Since citronella is lemon scented, I'd say you might be able to substitute with either lemon or lemon grass or the lemon/green onion hybrid that is out there. That's for baking. If you are using it for keep away bugs - you got me there but I did read that putting dish soap on water in a small dish pan might attract (and drown) things like mosquitoes and gnats.





Now the sour cream. Here's what I know. A one pound container of cream cheese is 453 grams. There are 15 servings in that container at 2 T per serving. So, with that in mind, you are after 150 grams of sour cream which is just a smidgen over 1/3 of the container. 1/3 of 15 servings is 5. Each serving is 2 tablespoonfuls so you would have 10 tablespoonfuls - approximately. You verify the math but that's what I came up with.

None of these are really that bad for you when used in moderation. What causes people to become unhealthy is when they are consumed excessively. If you are eating healthy food that is is not too processed and you add a little bit of something that contains salt or saturated fat, overall, it's still good for you. If you decide to eat a baked potato with the nutrient-rich skin on it, you can put a little sour cream or cheese on it and that's not so bad. If you decide you would rather eat french fries and turn them into chili-cheese fries, that is bad for you. While everything you mentioned above has the potential to be ';bad'; if consumed in excess, they really aren't bad in moderation if everything else a person eats is healthy. If a person does some moderate exercise a few days out of every week, thier cardiovascular system will be in better shape and this will make them even more tolerant of a moderate amount of salt and fat.

Don't be afraid of red. Red rose heads with some white and rose blossoms arranged as a meandering runner with crystal candlesticks poking up would work well and would be very elegant accent to your gold and cream color scheme.

No not really. If it has 30+ percent fat it will create a fairly unstable cream but most do not have that much fat in them. Most have around 20% and will not whip.

Put an ice cube on each indentation and let it melt, it will remove the marks within a couple of hours.
Use a steam iron , keep it slightly above the carpet ...Wait awhile and use a comb to lift the fibers, If you need to do it again, do so this help me and I was quite pleased with the results.

I don't think the ice cream will form properly. I don't think that you are supposed to mix it in with the actual ingredients, I think that it is supposed to go in with the ice to help make the cream form.
Salt is salt, more specifically, NaCl is NaCl. You can make ice cream with table salt, but since the grains are smaller, they dissolve much faster than rock salt. It takes a much higher volume of table salt and since table salt is more refined, it is more expensive.
it doesn't melt the ice the same way so makes it take longer to freeze the ice cream

Heavy cream has more fat than table cream or milk. The amount of fat in the ice cream ';batter'; helps to determine the ice cream's consistency. In my experience, increasing the amount of fat in the ice cream makes for a more dense, less pliable final product. It certainly isn't bad, but I prefer a more balanced fat content in my ice cream.

You will have to strip the old paint off with a chemical. Sanding will destroy the table. Due to the nooks and crannies, paint is in all the detail work, so you may want to hire a professional to strip the piece.





Then, just stain the wood a mahogany color. First do a test on the bottom of the table to see how the wood absorbs the color.





Finish the table with polyurethane or my favorite, Minwax Antique Oil.


This Minwax Antique Oil is a great product that leaves the wood with a great luster that leaves a wonderful patina look on the wood. It is also a great protectant against moisture. I used it on an antique piece of furniture in which I cut a hole in to drop a sink to use for a bathroom vanity. That was over 20 years ago and it still looks great after only re-coating twice so far.





EDIT: I now see that you just want to paint the table instead of refinishing it. You will have to lightly sand the cream finish and prime all surfaces so the new mahogany colored paint will adhere. Otherwise, you will have a dark painted table that will chip through and show the cream. Paint your table with a few light coats of paint instead of laying it on thickly. For a nice table top, lightly sand between coats to avoid brush marks from showing through the final coat.





Use a paint with either a satin finish or a semi-gloss finish

Living in Canada and being a former chef I know the dilemma your in, I would sugesst, using the single cream but cutting it with whole milk, if your requiring say 1 cup of table cream which is 18% in Canada, use 1/2 cup of single cream and 1/2 cup of whole milk.

I would put some sour cream right at the end in. The other problem with sour cream is that it can make a dish runny the longer is warms up and cooks. To not have cream curdle you need to temper it like you would cook an egg that you do not want to scramble with heat but using a little warm liquid to slowly heat the cream.

try looking for a green concealer this masks the red of your spots and makes them less visible when you put make up on but oviously make sure you wear make up over it!!!!

That's not tru at all. Concealer is for anyone who needs concealing. If you have dark circles under your eyes then concealer is for you. When you say eye cream what are you referring to? Moisturizer or shadow or liner? either one, it's still necessary to use moisturzer, eye color liek shadows are optional, and liner gives eyes more definition/shape.

I was in the Asian market picking up some sesame oil and a variety of noodles I like. Anyways as I was leaving I saw someone set down a plastic tub which read something like Ice Cream Pie/Cake and it either different colored balls of some sort red yellow green which could have also been fruits I guess. Which BB Creams are the best?

Well, I'm interested in giving BB Creams a try (admittedly, I'm a cosmetic-whore), and was just wondering if any of you had any suggestions for which brands are the best? I have a very fair complexion (About an NC15 by MAC foundation colours), with golden undertones, with combination skin type (...my skin itself is weird. It's mostly normal, but on some days seems really dry, can be oily in the t-zone but dry-flaky on the nose at the same time). Not sure skin type matters really, but thought I would put it out there.





I've been thinking of Hanskin's Super Magic BB Cream... But there are so many brands out there, I don't know if there's something else out there that is superior?

All you have to do in stead of spending tons of money on this stuff is, cream your face every morning and night. As far as bleaching your skin wear a lighter makeup and cream, cream, cream. Olay diefinity is a good lotion .

I just bought my first BB cream last night, and I wore it out today. I asked my co-worker's opinion, and she thought I looked more dewy today, but my skin looked otherwise the same. So I don't really think it has that much better coverage. The saleslady that sold me my BB showed me all the different lines she had, and you're right on the light shades. Most of them only have one shade b/c it's supposed to let your skin shine through, and if they did have a second shade, it was also fairly pale. My other moisturizer that I normally use and totally love is Lancome. They have definitely more colors to choose from, and as far as I know, covers just as well as the BB's. I used the one by Gonwoosesang, which is supposed to be top notch.
